About Kini

Uthpala Kinivita - Kini, Kinspire Estates, Century 21 Affiliated

Uthpala Kinivita — known to everyone as Kini — is a real estate agent with Kinspire Estates and Century 21 Affiliated (Cal DRE #02343809), serving Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties from his base in Irvine.

His path here spans three continents: born in Sri Lanka, early schooling in London, a business built in Melbourne, and a company scaled and exited in California. Every step taught the same lesson — homes are where ambition and family meet, and the person guiding that decision should treat it like their own.

The Journey

Sri Lanka → London → Kandy. A global childhood and a fast-tracked education: Kini began his IT degree before finishing high school and graduated at nineteen, then added business and economics credentials. His first company — a trucking and transportation business — launched the same year.

Colombo. At Virtusa’s R&D unit, Kini rose from intern to business analyst and junior project manager in robotic process automation — the technologist’s foundation he still brings to marketing homes and analyzing markets today.

Melbourne. While earning a Master of Business Analytics, Kini founded USK Properties — property maintenance, landscaping, painting — and caught the real estate bug for good: an Australian license, brokerage experience, and his first house flips.

California. After moving to the US, Kini partnered to build LA Basics 360, a Long Beach janitorial and property maintenance company, leading it as Managing Director to become one of the area’s most sought-after services before exiting to pursue real estate full time. He passed his California DRE exams, joined the Orange County Realtors Association, and now builds Kinspire Estates under the Kinspire Holdings family — with his wife, a Sri Lankan attorney turned US lawyer, chasing the same California dream beside him.

Why Clients Choose Kini

  • An owner’s eye — he has bought, renovated, rented, and sold property with his own money on the line.
  • An analyst’s discipline — data-driven pricing and marketing, not gut feel and hope.
  • An immigrant’s empathy — he knows what it means to start somewhere new and bet on yourself.
  • A builder’s follow-through — from first call to closing day, the same person shows up.
