The Journey
Sri Lanka and London. Kini grew up between two countries and moved quickly through his education. He started his IT degree before he had finished high school and graduated at nineteen, then added credentials in business and economics. That same year he launched his first company, a trucking and transportation business.
Colombo. He joined Virtusa as an intern and rose to business analyst and junior project manager working in robotic process automation. The habit of reading data carefully, formed in that role, is the same one he now applies to pricing homes and analyzing markets.
Melbourne. While earning a Master of Business Analytics, Kini founded USK Properties, a maintenance, landscaping, and painting business. This is where real estate took hold. He earned an Australian license, spent time with a brokerage, and completed his first house flips.
California. After moving to the United States, Kini partnered on LA Basics 360, a Long Beach property services company, and led it as Managing Director until he exited to focus on real estate full time. He passed his California DRE exams, joined the Orange County Realtors Association, and now builds Kinspire Estates under the Kinspire Holdings family. His wife, a Sri Lankan attorney who requalified as a US lawyer, is building her own career in California beside him.
